Background:
Alexander 'Lex' Luthor, born to Lillian and Lionel Luthor, is the heir to his father's fortune. 1989, Lionel and Lex travel to Smallville, Kansas for business and were caught in a freak Meteor Shower. Lex was in the middle of a cornfield when it hit and consequently he lost his hair because of it's effects, making him the joke to many school kids antics. But growing up he learned dealing with business, playing musical instruments including the piano, and reading literature and history. So he took a position at LuthorCorp at Smallville, and now lives in a mansion on the outskirts of Smallville. Lex also has a keen interest in historical artefacts, building up a fine collection in his mansion.

He has befriended Clark Kent, who he accidently rammed off a bridge, with his car, without a scathe on either one of them. It's been since then the two have become frends and allies in the face of danger, however behind Clark's back, Lex has devoted his free time and energy finding out Clark's secret - where he's from, how he can make it to crime scenes or people's aids so fast, why he's normally unaffected by the dangers of meteor rock-affected villains. In 2002 a save in Smallville's been discovered with drawings on the walls. It describe's Clark's destiny but neither Lex nor Lionel could uncover what it meant nor what a hexagonal key could unlock. Lex tried to back off warnng Clark to do the same, but Lex returned to his ways of trying to discover Clark's secret.

Lex has had a history of mental illness, suffering dellusions and harming others (and himself) in the way of them. They were linked to a traumatic experience he suffered as a child. His younger brother Julian was killed and his father blamed him his life for the tragic accident, but while in an unorthodox session to relive the memories it's revealed his mother was responsible for Julian's death.
Lex, with the help of Chloe Sullivan, are to testify in court against his father for the murder of his grandparents and other crimes.

This is where the RPing Lex picks up, before Lex comes home to be poisoned with the whisky.


Personality:
Lex has a good side and bad side to him. He never really had friends growing up so the friends he makes now are truly his friends who mean him well and he wants to help them the best way he can. However growing up under his father's hand, he can be a little power hungry and ruthless when it comes to business. Because of his actions he's found hismelf at a cross road between embracing his evil side and stepping completely out of his father's shadow and living a good life, helping others for the better. He likes to believe he can change and be the good guy in everyone's eyes but he has a long way to go before he can do that.
